I after a bit of trial and error, I corrected the peace be upon him that I had written by hand using the pen tool, by finding the arabic text for these words online. Using the magic wand tool, I was able to select the detailed text and add it to my book cover.

* My mentor told me that the way that the text was placed before made this cover look like an advertisement. So I changed it, rotated and made it a a point smaller. (July 10, 2012)

    It has become more attractive, the white made it very flat. Adding the layer style to the text and adding the outter effect made a kind of foreground and in background text.

    Hard to read spine and it looks like an advertisement. Try making the headline bigger.

    I think it definitely came out better than before. The only thing that kept on bugging me was the shadow around the new writing. I think if the shadow was little less dark it probably would have been better. It looked like it was smudged on there. Also, I think if you divided the part between the spine and the original cover it would have been more enhanced as well. It looks as if the spine is part of the cover itself. Other than that, it was really nice.
